Sturdy, reliable garden sifter!

"My zone is 9b (Central Florida). I've been using this sifter for two years, and the photos and videos show it right after use. I used the finer mesh to sift peat moss for seedlings, so you can see some residue left on the screen. I could have washed it or sifted some compost to clean it, but I'm not a fan of washing garden tools because then you have to wait for them to dry completely. I used to struggle a bit with switching between the fine and coarse screens, but I've finally figured out the trick: lift the screen evenly on all sides, then pull it out sideways, either to the left or right. This prevents it from getting wedged tightly in the frame. I'm really impressed with the quality and thickness of the metal, as well as the welds. The construction looks professional and feels incredibly sturdy. I'd also love to have an even finer mesh for sifting fine perlite and vermiculite for seedlings, but at that point, we're getting closer to a kitchen sieve or colander than a garden sifter! I highly recommend this product. It's built to last for decades!"
